I would have to say the coolest event I have ever been to was the Bob Marley Festival in Miami. This event is held every year for Bob Marley’s birthday, rain or shine. Usually, all his sons, whom are reggae artist, perform in celebration, as well as other famous reggae artist. This is an event that is about 12 plus hours, but so worth it. The food and atmosphere is great! They also include the Festival to be food drive.

The one place I could and would love to travel to would be Africa, basically, any country. Oh, to see the African sunrise and sunset! I love my culture, history, and history of other countries. However, there is an enlightenment that I know that I will feel the day that I touch down there in any one of the countries. I think my first choice may be either Ethiopia, or Ghana. I would also love to visit Botswana. The food and delicacies will be a first for me. This is actually one of my goals in life to contribute to the less fortunate.

This place always sticks out in my mind. Not only was it the coolest, but it had everyone around me, enjoying the festivities as well. I am talking about Dunn’s River Falls, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I was their actually last year for a family reunion, about 100 people. We arrived and got to swimming right away. The beach was a bit cold, due to the fresh water coming right off the fall, right into the ocean. Dunn’s River Falls also offered souvenir shops and a variety of island foods to try. I will definitely be going back.

All is good in the neighborhood, with me. I have been searching for employment and working on my Education Degree. It is a bit difficult when you do not have any previous experience with children or childcare and you are trying to break into the field. I actually went to a Career Fair, which gave me a bit insight on what kind of employment I can look for with my skill level and experience. A lot of my experience is in Business Management, Sales and Customer Service. I hope to break into the Education Field very soon.

We have but one life. Life is too short, but a good man can make the best of it. One can argue that good and bad are relative, but we should go by the universal good and thats called Humanity. As long as, we lead a life of a good human being, without hurting anyone, without cheating anyone, trying to help others as far as possible, a bit of charity and a hard earned contended life, we can call it a good living. Wasting this precious life to cheat others and earn the luxuries of life in the shortest possible time, is not a way to live. Even wild animals do not kill when they are not hungry, but its only the humans who kill others, mentally or physically to make their own life better, at least in the physical sense. If each and every human being tries to be good and live a happy contended life, with whatever he has, then the world will be a better place to live.

I love reading and one of the latest book I read is ‘The Fountainhead’ by Ayn Rand. I have heard about Ayn Rand as one of the most famous philosopher of modern times, but got a chance to read her masterpiece only recently. When I finished the book, it left a heavy feeling in my heart, as the hero of the novel, Howard Roarke is the picture of a perfect man, which the modern world will never get a chance to see. The best thing about the book is the message it gives, that hard work and honesty always pays its reward, even if it is late. The state of the world and its harsh encounters are beautifully depicted in this book, which is a must read for any book love.

I like to eat anything, that is vegetarian. I like to experiment all types of food, Indian, Vietnamese, Taiwan, Chinese, American, Italian, Greek, Mexican; you name it I love to have a taste of it, as long as it is vegetarian. I love Italian and Mexican a lot and love to eat spicy food. So even Asian is in my favorite list where the tangy spiciness makes my mouth water. French Fries are good to pass time and so is any fried item. But the irony is that, whatever tastes good are branded as unhealthy by the doctors and so my diet is mostly unhealthy as anyone else’s. Tortillas with Salsa is one of my favorite snack and

crunchy items do have a place in my list of favorites.

Everyone has their own schedule and mostly it will be a routine one. Mine is no exception. My normal day starts with wading through the newspaper for quality news, get ready to go to office, rush in the morning peak hour and be at the desk before your boss tries to reach out to you. Clearing the e-mails forms the major part of the start up activity and taking actions on them follows. rioritizing the action items, listing out things which can be delegated and doing the remaining work in between the meetings already scheduled, takes most of the days time. If I get a chance to have a friendly chat with one of my old time office buddies, then I would consider it a lucky day. Winding up the long day and rushing back to the house in the heavy traffic to get a peak of my little one, before she gets involved in her home work, makes my day a lovely one.
