Last week I went to Waikato with a couple of friends. We spent the night there at a cheap cabin but has all basic facilities, e.g. bed, toilet and shower, and kitchen. We visited the three caves namely, Waitomo, Aranui, and Ruakuri caves. The highlight of that adventure was the glowworm. As the name implies, worms that glow. Actually they are not worms but fly larvae, and they do glow. It was such a unique experience. We had to ride a boat to be able to go inside the cave. It was pitch black inside, and cold and quiet, and up above the cave ceiling we saw hundreds and hundreds of glowworms. It was such a magnificent view, like looking at stars in the heavens.
